This website describes services provided in the UK by Height Advantage Photography. While Brian Keen makes every effort to ensure that everything on the website is accurate and complete, it is provided for information only. There has always been widespread confusion, regarding the copyright and use of commissioned photographic images.

This brief note is intended to clarify the position regarding images provided by Brian Keen t/a Height Advantage and constitutes part of the terms and conditions of the commission.

The images supplied by Height Advantage are licensed for first use by the commissioning client, for the project described at the time of commissioning.

We freely extend this licence, without charge, to allow the client further and unlimited use of the images, at any time, without additional permission being required.

The same licence is further extended, without charge, to the commissioning client’s own client, if applicable.

However, the licence described is otherwise non-assignable. The images must not, under any circumstances, whether by resale, lending or gift, be passed to other parties, without specific written permission from Height Advantage.

Brian Keen/Height Advantage retains copyright of all images and may use images to demonstrate the services of Height Advantage, or allow them to be used for editorial or other uses, not in conflict with the client’s original use.

The originator (photographer) of any photographic image has the protection of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
